How You Feel When Your Heart is Enlightened

Or, more on the Opening of the Spiritual Heart.

The Spiritual Heart doesn’t open up automatically. It doesn’t happen by itself. Somebody has to activate, awaken and open up the gates of the heart.

The Spiritual Heart is a spiritual entity which is sitting on the fleshy heart. It is in a dormant condition. It is under the web of 180 000 layers of [negativity]. It is not humanly possible to be able to remove those 180 000 layers of web all by yourself.

Firstly, you can’t even see the web encasing your Spiritual Heart. Secondly, the only way you feel all these 180 000 evil layers is when they reflect in your personality. [Due to them], you show arrogance or hold unreasonable grudges for people — and you keep the grudges in your heart until you take vengeance. You become deceitful in your heart and your arrogance makes you a prideful person.

The only way you can remove these layers is to have a Spiritual Guide who has been ordained and delegated by God himself. When somebody has been delegated by God himself, God grants them the power to awaken the Spiritual Heart and open it up.

The Opening of the Spiritual Heart is subject to God’s permission. Without prior permission from God, hearts cannot open up for God’s love. The Spiritual Guide will first apply to God for the permission. Once the permission from God is granted, subsequent to this permission, the Spiritual Guide will implant the seed of God’s Personal Name (Ism-e-Zaat) in the throbbing system of your heart. The seed of God’s Personal Name will articulate within the beating system.

It will mingle with the throbs of the heart [and the throbs will pronounce God’s name]. This will go on for a few days. In seven days, this practice will become complete. In three years time, your heart will be completely activated and awakened — and you become a Momin (enlightened believer).

So what do you feel when the heart opens up? Physically, you feel there is a lot of heat residing in your heart. You will be sitting and, without any physical activity, you will feel a sudden rise in your heartbeats.

In addition to these feelings, you will also feel that somebody in your heart is reciting the name of God. You will hear it [not with your physical ears], but inwardly and quietly.
