The Challenge of A Spiritual Revolution
The last messenger of God came to this world almost fourteen and a half centuries ago and after the last messenger of God, there were no new messengers. Then came appointed by God, mystic leaders and saints of God. All these great mystics that we know of are from our past.
In reality, we have had no firsthand experience of being in the company of a saint of God. It takes a lot of time for people to learn to maintain the ethical, moral and spiritual protocol of somebody appointed by God. Sometimes the immediate followers are able to obtain maximum benevolence from the company of the saint of God and in some cases, those who join their Sufi Order, later on, are able to obtain even more benevolence.
Whenever a Messenger of God was introduced to humanity, people with all kinds of fate flocked around him. Some of them were genuine seekers, others were hidden spies who later became to be known as hypocrites and some others simply showed no interest whatsoever. And then, there were those who opposed the teachings and persecuted the messenger and those who believed in that messenger.
As it has been the pattern of how people behave with dignitaries appointed and delegated by God, nothing different happened this time when His Holiness Gohar Shahi emerged from the province of Sindh, Pakistan. And this time, when His Holiness Gohar Shahi was delegated and appointed by God to guide humanity towards him and lead humanity towards Rapturous Love of God, every single thing that had happened in the past was indifferent to the temperament of people in this era and there was hardly any genuine seeker of God’s love because religiosity was practised not to obtain God’s love but to fulfil a requirement by God that those who worship would enter heaven.
But His Divine Grace did not show any dismay or despair and took it up as a challenge.
In the beginning, people didn’t show any interest in God’s love so His Holiness Gohar Shahi started guiding humanity from the scratch. His Holiness Gohar Shahi tried different methods; started off doing spiritual healing on people who were either possessed by evil spirits or those who were inflicted with incurable diseases and while they would come and receive spiritual healing, His Holiness Gohar Shahi would then advise them to take Initiation of the Heart. And this is how this mission was put forward to humanity.
